Trip to Sacramento May-June, 2012--Part-2 of 3

This part includes those pics taken during our stroll to the nearby park for kids to play (continued from Part-1) in the adfternoon of 5/27, many flowers we see daily in our community and failed to pay proper attention, and part of our trip to San Francisco on 5/28. 

Carly and Sienne are into gymnastics and have strong grips and arms.  My belly has shrunken since I started swimming last September, at least 4 times a week, slow 1-2 kilometers total on each visit.  Lost 6 pounds and the belly.

This is the picture of Sienne, cousin of Hunter and also his classmate, baby Carly, and Hunter.  This must be taken 5-6 years ago.  I reproduced it for my record.

I wish I knew the names of all those flowers that are decorating the side-walks of many of our communities.  They are so pretty and mostly neglected.

This is a flower you must know. This is Common Foxglove, Purple Foxglove, Lady's Glove, or Digitalis purpurea.  The most important cardiac medicne, digitalis, Digoxin etc, came from this.

I believe this is an edible flower.  We had those in our back yard of Lin-Yih Street house in Taipei, where we lived until I was 17 years old.  Mother made a very delicious soup with those flowers.
